My style as a therapist is collaborative, warm, affirming, and creative. No two therapies look the same, and I offer a tailored approach that best meets your needs. I work closely with you to co-create a unique therapeutic rhythm that aims to help you thrive. I also consider societal factors that contribute to who you are, the interplay between societal expectations, and your identity outside of those boundaries. I work from a multicultural perspective and specialize in identity-based concerns.

I earned my doctorate at George Washington University, where I worked primarily with college and graduate students. I understand the unique issues that can occur during these pivotal moments in one’s life, such as adjusting to transitions, autonomy and independence, academic stress, early career concerns, and more. I have also worked with professionals and adults of all ages and the transitions endemic to various stages of life. Throughout the entirety of my experience, I have worked with clients presenting with concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, race-based trauma, sexual trauma and assault, PTSD, chronic health difficulties, and questions regarding gender and sexual identity.

My clinical foundation draws on psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theories, and I also integrate Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral techniques (CBT & DBT), mindfulness, and social justice into the therapeutic space. I believe that the past and present are intrinsically linked, and it is through greater insight into past patterns, bold examinations of the present, and radical acceptance of ourselves that we can create a new vision for the future.
