As a licensed clinical psychologist at Bryant West Psychology, I bring experience working with a broad range of individuals, from adolescents to older adults, including those who are seeking mental health treatment for the first time as well as those more familiar with the positive life changes that can be achieved through therapy. I have worked with patients experiencing a wide range of issues, such as depression and anxiety, major life transitions, grief and loss, work, family, and relationship stress, complex trauma (abuse, neglect, exposure to violence), as well as those coping with severe mental illness, addiction and those who love someone who is addicted.

Though I have been trained in various treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic/relational therapy), I have always considered myself an integrative, person-centered clinician. My philosophical perspective in therapy has remained steadfast in believing that you are the expert on your own life. My primary focus in therapy is to honor your values to help you best resolve conflicts, heal from emotional wounds, and understand and overcome barriers that unwittingly prevent you from emotional growth. Together, we will pursue goals that may previously have felt beyond your grasp. Within our relationship, I will assist you in developing new insights and coping skills and ultimately recognize the strength you have within yourself to move toward a richer, more fully and authentically lived life.

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL, and my internship with Adelphi University at the Derner Consortium. I have also written articles and served on the board of numerous mental health organizations, such as the Florida chapter of Active Minds, an organization dedicated to reducing mental health stigma among teens and young adults. I have resolved to continue to illuminate the stories of thousands of people who suffer in silence, as well as provide comfort in the fact that they are not alone.
