I provide open-ended psychotherapy to adults of all ages with a wide range of concerns. These include the profound challenges of depression, anxiety, and the long-term effects of childhood (and adult) trauma, as well as those everyday struggles and conflicts of work, relationships, family, life transitions, and other stressors. I am welcoming of people of all backgrounds and identities, and have extensive experience with individuals of diverse identities & marginalized backgrounds including BIPOC, queer, and immigrant communities.
My work is psychodynamic & psychoanalytically-based, but I may integrate other approaches such as mindfulness as well as systemic understandings of how we are all deeply affected by the systems (political, socio-cultural, gender/sexuality, racial) in which we are embedded. I am collaborative, straightforward, and down-to-earth in my approach, and rely on your guidance in informing me as to how I might best help you. I look forward to hearing from you.
I received my master’s in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University. I’ve held clinical training positions in various college counseling, school, community mental health, and hospital settings. If you'd like to explore what psychotherapy can offer or improve your overall well-being, call or email me to see if we are a good fit together. I am excited to embark on your therapeutic journey with you.
